It has been another amazing week in third grade. Thank you to all of you who were able to attend back to school night. It was wonderful to see so many of you there in support of your child's education. When we work together as a team amazing things happen, so thank you! If you were unable to attend your child should have come home with the packet I passed out. If you did not receive one I have posted a link to that on the parent page under handouts.
We had a great time at the 25th annual Eagle Walk! The students did a great job walking/running their hearts out. Check out our Photo Gallery to see pictures from our day. Thank you to our many parent volunteers who showed up to help set up/clean up, count laps, or simply cheer us on. Also, thank you for all of the delicious snacks that were sent in to help us refuel along the way. Your child should have come home on Friday with a pink sticky note inside their Friday folder that had their total number of laps on it. If your child's note got lost let me know and I'd be happy to let you know how many laps they did. Please send your Eagle Walk donations in as soon as you are done collecting. Thank you to those of you who have already sent yours in.
Finally, please make sure you get signed up for a time to meet with me during conference week which is right around the corner. Conferences will begin on October 25th. It is very important that I meet with all of you to discuss your child's progress and areas for growth. Visit our online sign up to select an available time slot. If the listed times do not work with your schedule please let me know and we can make alternative arrangements.
Have a great week!
