Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and were able to spend some quality time with your loved ones despite the crazy weather we experienced. Thank you all for the wonderful gifts and cards that were sent in before break. I brought them all home and opened them on Christmas morning with my family so that your children could be a part of my Christmas morning tradition. Your kind words and thoughtful gifts were wonderful and made me feel very appreciated. Thank you so much for thinking of me.
With all the snow days we experienced the week before break we weren't able to get too much work done but we did have enough time to wrap up our novel study of The Indian in the Cupboard. Ask your child if they can summarize the story for you. If they are successfully able to do this please let me know so that I can recognize them in class for being an active listener. We will spend the upcoming week wrapping up our unit on the Washoe Tribe as well as our 3rd math unit of the year.
Finally, with all of the snow we have received please make sure your child comes to school prepared for outdoor recess.
Have a great week!
Mrs. Anagnos
