As I sit here writing our last newsletter of the year I am reflecting on what a great year it's been. I have loved my time getting to know your wonderful children and all of you. The kiddos have grown and changed so much this year; it has been amazing to watch. I am so sad to say goodbye to them but know they are ready to move on to 4th grade. They will do great things and I can't wait to see where they go in life, you all have some amazing kiddos.
This Thursday is Beach day and we are in need of more drivers. Please let me know ASAP if you are available to help transport students to the beach. You do not need to stay at the beach if you are unable, dropping off and picking up is ok. Also, If your child has not returned their permission slip for beach day please make sure they bring it back to school ASAP.
Friday is Carnival Day as well as the last day of School. Volunteers are needed to make this great day possible, please let me or the office know if you are available to help out. We will also be having our annual 5th grade vs. staff softball game. Extra adults to help supervise students while the teachers are playing in the game are always needed and appreciated during this time as well. Finally, don't forget that this day is a minimum day and all students will be released at 12:50. Please make sure your child knows their after school plans for this day.
Have a great week and a wonderful summer!
